Library Finds is seriously beautiful photography and explication of little-seen gems in the library stacks, from a self-confessed "techie, not a librarian, who is quite fortunate to be surrounded by books everyday". From the green to the teal and now to the blue.
Winner.

As someone who works in a research/reference library, this is such a wonderful idea. One of my favorite things about my job is finding autographs, doodles, and beautiful old photographs in books that probably no one has seen in years.

...that is to say that while it's nice to see photographs of the book as object, I'd prefer to see the contents thereof displayed in a non-blurry manner.

Thanks for the kind words and support. I'm proud of my little blog and really enjoy working on it. Being linked to on the front page of MeFi was a pleasant surprise.

I just started working in a library, and I am always getting distracted by all of the wonderful books, old and new. Now I can get my fix on my days off! Beautiful work, inviolable.
