Chimpanzee Riding A Segway + Soccer Ball (In The Face) + Boogie Boogie Hedgehog + Hamster On A Piano (Eating Popcorn) = Videos in the key of Parry Gripp (of Nerf Herder fame).
I see you trying to distract us from the US Election. Very clever! :)

Thank you for this mildly insane distraction.

Nerf Herder had fame? I grew up in their home town, and I knew kids who liked them. My only distinct memory related to them was when I saw the re-release of The Empire Strikes Back in the theater on opening night (1997), and a bunch of kids in Nerf Herder hoodies recited Princess Leia's line with her. Something of an in-joke for the teen-age pop-punk crowd.

That hamster is really committed!
Similarly, that boy's face must really sting!

Is it wrong that I cried real tears of laughter during the Soccer Ball (In the face) video when the toddler gets knocked off her feet when she gets smacked with a soccer ball? I mean, it's unlikely that her nose got broken, made as they are at that age nearly entirely of cartilage?
Also, thanks for posting something completely unrelated to that other thing.

Oh YAYY, it's a posting silly stuff day on the blue! aww that widdle hanster!
I love that boogie woogie hedgehog mashup! One of the vid clips included there is a hedgehog eating a carrot. It's so memorable that it got me through a biopsy by visualizing that scrunched up face.
Just came from voting, cast my ballot for Obama. Walked around the streets, asking total strangers if they'd voted. Beams of smiles, people proud of voting, a real sense of the historic nature of the day. US citizens from abroad voted with grins on their faces, a Bangladeshi neighbor voted for Obama, Ecuadorians, French all saying how much this means to them, hoping for peace. Passersby on their cellphones saying, "Have you voted?" There were lines around the block this morning. People routinely waited 1 1/2 hours. This has never happened in my entire life here in NYC, arriving the first time in 1962. Never happened in the 22 years I've lived here after being out of the country for 15 years. This is an amazing day.
People sitting on the stoops, wondering what's going to happen, talking about the vote having been stolen not once but twice before. Yesterday on the radio I heard some guy saying if Obama won it would be because the vote had been stolen!? wtf? When the Republican party has been proven to have stolen the vote in the past.
Intense atmosphere of expectation, dread mixed with hope.
So it's wonderful to come to the blue while this waiting is going on and play a little. Can we contribute our silly, aww worthy, totally adorable YouTubery to your thread to add to the fun?

Parry Gripp's album For Those About To Shop is pretty great. It's an album full of product jingles, done in tons of different styles.

If you ever get the chance to see Nerf Herder live, you'd be a fool to miss out on them. When I was in high school I felt like a turd a whole bunch of the time and NH made feeling like a turd sound funny instead of soul crushing. Also, you should check out Parry's product review blog, Great post!
