As someone who didn't stop clubbing until about 1994, that would be a resolute no.
It was all a bit too white for my tastes until Chicago and Detroit got their hands on it though.

vronsky: Any mention of Australian synthpop must include a link to a Severed Heads video. They usually get lumped in with the EBM/Industrial crowd, but that's mostly because of the name, I think.
