Giant Robots Du Jour

Walkie Tonky is a physics-based action game which puts you in the shoes of a giant robot invading Earth. Smash and kick your way forward using the robot's every limb to cause mayhem and clear the road ahead. (Download required, from a sort of funky filehosting site. Probably Windows only, but I'm not sure.)
The game download is described as a demo, which presumably means there will be more to it at some point. Gameplay is currently score based, with the more destruction you cause the higher your score is. Learn to kick fast.

Too bad it's Windows only. Looks pretty neat!

MetaFilter: Smash and kick your way forward
You had me at "physics" and "robot" but then lost me at "download", "funky" and "Windows".

How do you know that it's not taking over your computer? (I'm very suspicious of attractive-looking programs from unknown sites.)

This is cute and pretty. But only a little fun.
I'm glad I played it, but I wish I wanted to play it more.
