This is a nice idea. The same basic technique is used in things like Steve Reich's 'Different trains', but this takes the concept further. Listening to 'Anna' however, the melodic riff matches the sound of someone talking about the the happiness of others, and their tone of voice might rather express puzzlement or the attempt to convince the interviewer by sounding authoritative.
