God this is great--they're acting like Punk was a million years ago, and it's 1978. Pop culture always thinks it's moving so much faster than it is. Everyone's totally incapable of realizing what was actually going on musically, as if Crass and the Buzzcocks were indistinguishable.

What I really want is an answer to how they managed to be so amazingly, wonderfully tuneful, beyond what any of their compatriots were up to. The only clue in this doc is that Love You More was written in 1975 about a specific girl--probably when Shelly's musical inspirations were pub rockers and bubblegum.

Grenada TV probably comes from somewhere in Spain. The one from the North West of England is Granada TV.
