So I just reread this one today, and there's a duck connection, so there you go.
"Téodor to hear you I would believe you never were a child" is just solid gold. The man has a better sense for dialect and the rhythm of speech than any one else who has ever written in balloons, I think.

I hate both ducks and cameras but some of these made me chuckle.

Oh, it's a strip about a duck who is a photographer. I was wondering how much humor could be wrung out of things like bufflehead/hooded merganser confusion. Though I immediately thought of a recurring gag--the greater scaup who dives just as the photographer is about to snap a picture...

I love WTD and I've followed it since the beginning. Never thought of it as Metafilter material though.

Ok, sure, maybe not the best of the web. But I still sent a strip to my father, who is a professional photographer and has just last week learned how to access the internets.
Welcome to the future, dad! We have wikipedia and project gutenberg, and we also have a guy who writes comics about ducks who are photographers.
(Actually, I don't think he's found Wikipedia or Gutenberg yet. He's still reeling from www.google.com).

I didn't like many, but twenty minutes later I was still reading 'em, so I guess I like it despite myself.
