Sodnomdarjaa Khaltarkhuu never expected to be a metaphor for the far-reaching impacts of the financial downturn.
How is he a "metaphor" for the global recession? Isn't he just a pretty typical (and predictable) victim of it?
And surely small farmers buying their livestock on credit to supply raw materials for a luxury product are exactly the people we would expect to see suffering from a global recession, aren't they?
