The National Film Board of Canada's 5th annual online short film competition "Internet votes will decide the best film, and the winner will be announced at Cannes on May 21." NFB previously. [via Drawn!]
"Countdown" was made right here in St. John's, Newfoundland and the b'ys made a great film with some of our best local actors and crew. Now I can check out the other entries. Thanks for posting.

As far as I can tell, Countdown is the only Canadian film here. This doesn't thrill me.
I really liked Black Hole but I have a short attention span.
