In the grand Metafilter tradition, let me be the first to say that music is horrible. So horrible that my browser had to be closed immediately.

All music? ever? Or just Your Favorite Band Sucks™ music.

In any case I find their music catchy and fun to listen too, not overly complicated, but the video, the tedium required to produce such a thing, is astounding.

My initial reaction on reading the headline was "ANOTHER stopmotion video?" (for some reason I'm under the impression I've seen a few of these, although I can't think of any others off the top of my head), but that was very cool, and a nice unique take. The music wasn't necessarily anything I'll rush out to buy, but I was tapping my hands and whistling along by the end, so I gotta chalk that one up as a win.

Stopmotion without any video footage? What's next, ice cream without bones?

It seems like there's been tons and tons of stop-motion music videos being done lately.

That is because stop motion is KICKASS.

This looks like it was kind of itchy.

I liked it better when Peter Gabriel did it in 1986

isn't that sperm footage at the start of the Sledgehammer video? ; )

as for We Have Band,
cool video, music was ok,
would gladly listen to it over 95% of what's on the radio

Neat.

And yeah, kind of reminds me of some old 80s music video stuff that would get played on odd channels in the middle of the night.

Cool video. Cool song. Reminds me of ESG.

I thought the video was pretty cool, the music was decent, and the thread was predictable.

That's an ace video. I enjoyed the music too. I'm not sure what all the hate's for, it's perfectly competent electro indie stuff.

I've actually had this song going through my head for the past few days. I like it a lot.
