According to the DVD commentary track, that skull prop is actually called "Skully", not "Jim".

How much more hilarious could it get? None. None more hilarious.

It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

Metafilter: Art, no matter how savvy and nuanced, is ultimately about instant gratification.

I really want that "Smell the Glove" print.

I can completely see Nigel Tufnel buying "Eleven", only he'd ask the artist to repaint his left arm so that it's not covering anything. Plus, of course, adding in the missing detail*.
*No guesses on how long it would be**.
**That's in inches, not centimeters.

I'm surprised there wasn't a blank solid black canvas.

Spinal Tap A to Zed.
Black Sabbath and Stonehenge. I didn't know about this until I picked up Rosemary Hill's book about Stonehenge.

In the topsy-turvy world of heavy rock, having a good solid piece of art in your hand is often useful.

There's a typo in the "Lil Tuffy" one. Surely that's supposed to be 23 by 23 feet.

Is it wrong that I adore "STONEHENGE WAS NEARLY TRAMPLED BY A DWARF!"? If only I had disposable income for strange art right now, I think it would round out the mantle beautifully, a good counterpart to the "succubi under glass" at the other end...

I am disturbed, but not really surprised, to find that somebody thinks a chapeau is a shoe.

"it would round out the mantle beautifully"
I must say that the pop-up figurines which unfold from the latest Spinal Tap cd case are a great addition to any mantle. The best part is that they are photographs of the Spinal Tap action figures, not the guys themselves. Like most everything Tap, it's Meta-Fun.

Am I the only who's slightly disappointed there isn't one that's just a black canvas?
