Yeah, the attention to detail was great - that fake americanized package of "La vache qui rit" with "Original Swiss Flavor" was a nice touch that made it clear to me that this was actually a pointed satire on the food industry's ability to mess up pretty much anything.

The entry actually says, "The Laughing Cow cheese is just for irony," so you are maybe not far off.
I just like that it uses SPAM™ and has a Hershey's Kiss thrown in; it's like the cultural polar opposite of specialty bento.

Man, I get up and go to work in 5 minutes every day. I live 2 blocks away from the office and we have pop tarts, free coffee and no dress code.

When we do finally make contact with an alien culture, I imagine it will be quite like that video. Same planet, different worlds.
This is of course coming from a guy who love to make Æbleskivers so was totally lusting after that pan she uses.
And I'd never heard of a bento before, but those Wild Things one rock! Great post!
