Well, this won't last long. It appears to be streaming video of every single Simpsons episode. Ay, carumba!
Maybe we should be coordinating our efforts or something. I've just snatched Season 2, for example, and may try to get the first few seasons before the later ones...

BTW, is free.fr a DSL provider? Just trying to determine how quickly Fox can take it down...

And please, for the love of god, no posting this to Slashdot until we've got a library.

Sadly, they don't seem to have my favorite episode, Deep Space Homer.

My d/l rate was 30MB/sec this morning. Now it's 3MB/sec. The word is spreading.

This all reminds me of a Bloat tagline - Webloggers 2 days ahead of the rest of us.
Or some such. So you're natural advantage as webloggers should be narrowing in matter of hours.
Better be selective in your downloads.

Man, I was doing 9 at a time for a while, now I'm down to 2 ... so, can we set up a writeable FTP space for these episodes, so we can share the love?
I'm trying to name mine well ... i.e. Simpsons - Grampa vs. Sexual Inadequacy (2F07).rm ... I suggest something similar for organization's sake.

Is anyone else having trouble with the video and audio on these files getting out of sync? (I'm running RealPlayer 7 on Win98.)

Yup. Not all files (I've watched a couple successfully, some with that problem), but many of 'em. As if the audio is being played faster than the video, right?

Yes indeed. If you or anyone else finds a way around this problem, please post it here. (Well, I've already found one way around it--stopping the file every minute and 30 seconds or so, then starting it again and moving the slider back to the appropriate time. But that's just no good.)

Does anyone know the episode where the Simpson family goes to a psychiatrist for electro-shock therapy and end up zapping each other? That's a keeper!! It was an early season but I'm not sure which nor what it was titled.

Just as an FYI, I've got all of season 11, most of 10 and am working my way down. I'm getting seasons 1-3 today, and all of it will be online at my own ftp site. Email me if you want access to it.

Thank you Mr. Kottke. "There's No Desgrace Like Home" was the episode in the first year.
