They have been at it a long time; go further into the cave and you'll no doubt eventually run into the paintings of hunters being being rude to tourists...

I have to admit last time I was in France, the French were very polite and friendly to me. Maybe this is because I can speak a little french, but who knows... Honestly, they cannot be any worse than Americans (which I am one) who simply YELL AND SPEAK S-L-O-W-E-R to foreigners, and have little understanding of cultures outside of North America... Heck, 9 out of 10 Americans don't even have passports... I don't mean to turn this thread into an argument on international relations and views of Americans, because I certainly fit into this category myself...
But how about those pre-historic cave paintings^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H engravings?

Obviously the French have had one of the largest impacts on European art...
But I'm pretty clueless about current French artists. Anyone have any pointers?
