Friday Flash Fun Puzzler: Grayscale is a puzzle game where you control a dot from one end of a route to another, manipulating wheels and other obstacles to get to the goal. Controlled by mouse.

I was playing this last night.

It started out easy, got pretty fun, but then rapidly went into "why am I doing this again" territory and I remembered that my new years resolution was to stop spending wasted time on the computer.

Reminds me of Onyx, which used to be on my friend's Mac back when nobody had macs in the 90s. I would link to the game but apparently I'm not the only one who couldn't find reference to it.

Actually, that one works with either kind of mouse. Huh.

Really? That Drench game wasn't enough? Now I also have THIS to keep me from being productive?!?!

This was much cooler than I first thought it was going to be.

Also far-more-effectively controlled by keyboard.

Pretty, imaginative, but tedious.

Oh, wait, not controlled by -a- mouse. Nevermind. One star.

Oh you can use the keyboard? Darn that would have been easier.

Anyway that was fun but I thought the last few levels were easier than the next-to-last-few levels.

I thought the last few levels were easier than the next-to-last-few levels.

At first I thought I was learning to plan more efficiently or just stumbling upon the correct path right away, but I think the game designer was just starting to run out of new ideas toward the last few levels. Anyway, it is a fun little game to play when you need to kill time waiting for something else. Easy to spend time playing and easy to put down. It also needs more gadgets and a build-your-own-level setting.

i'm not a big fan of having to click both "continue" and the next level number after each completion. also, all of that blurwow seems to cut down on the sensitivity of the dot to the mouse, but maybe it's laggy on purpose.
