Do Republicans dream of electric sheep?

Do Republicans dream of electric sheep? A new study concludes that Republicans have scarier and more frequent nightmares than Democrats. As usual, the explanation for this is split among party lines:
"What do you expect after eight years of William Jefferson Clinton?" -- Kevin Sheridan, Republican National Committee deputy press secretary.
"If George W. Bush were the leader of my party, I'd have trouble sleeping at night, too," -- Terry McAuliffe, Democratic National Committee chairman.
Wow... deja vu all over again.

"If George W. Bush were the leader of my party, I'd have trouble sleeping at night, too," -- Terry McAuliffe, Democratic National Committee chairman.

A simpler answer: the Right thrives on fear and ignorance.

Do Republicans dream of electric sheep?
Actually, they dream of electric chairs.

Republicans have nightmares because there are so many Democrats, all ignoring basic economics, human nature and elementary science.
Bah, the Dems are going to come back to power in '04 anyway. We won't have freedom, trade, individuality or honor, but at least all our self-esteems will be intact :)
Who cares about how Republicans sleep? What's important is how you sleep. I sleep like a baby - cry all night, then wet the bed :)

I was wondering where you'd gotten to, Fes. Just look at that juicy bait you dangle before me! ;)
In the interest of bipartisan bashing, I'm (as usual) reminded of The Simpsons. Homer is watching TV, and there is a shot of the Democratice National Convention, with a huge banner reading:
WE CAN'T GOVERN!
"Bo-ring!" cries Homer, who changes the channel over to an identical scene, the Republican National Convention, only their banner reads:
WE'RE JUST PLAIN EVIL!

I have a vision, a glorious vision!
A vision of a shining day, when bashings and partisanship are freely commingled, like hams and cheeses, like vodkas and tonics!
On that day, only then, will we all come together as one - one community, one tribe, one giant mob of sarcastic wiseacres!
It is a day I dream of... that is, when I can sleep, what with all the nightmares :)

It's really weird. Since that report came out, I've had two nightmares in the last two days. Seriously.
