Nannybots and mailing lists don't mix - especially nannybots that have gone insane!
A few years ago I was on a list that had a similar problem. Someone set their email to autorespond a "vacation" message - which was generated every time it received email. So 1 post to the list over christmas caused a vacation message to post to the list which went to the person's mailbox which caused another vacation message to be sent... The list crashed in pretty short order, and the listdad was on vacation (it was served from an edu account) so we were without gossip for about 2 days before we realized we could email each other directly. Yes, we *were* big losers.

Auto reflecting messages to a mailing list is a huge no-no, and I can't believe that company is monitoring their employee's emails for offensive content! Who needs echelon when you can work for accountpros.com!
