Blockhead's 'The Music Scene' video

It's kinda trippy, and you might need to own a television to understand it. The music video for Blockhead's 'The Music Scene;' an animated mind melt into a post human New York where TV and animals rule.
One minute in I'm thinking "I hope this goes on forever."
Love the colors, must watch again!

I like Blockhead a lot, and also I liked the trippy-ass videos on Sesame Street, so this worked quite nicely for me.

Speaking of good videos, I always liked this one made for Blockhead's "The Art of Walking", directed by Joan Guasch.

Looks like a cut scene from Heavy Metal.

Ninja Tune represent!
Time to drop some knowledge: Blockhead is an New York-based producer, who has four albums to his name, three on Ninja Tune and one which was self-released, but word was that Ninja Tune distributed it (though I'm not sure how far it got distributed - I got my copy at a local indie shop, which surprised Blockhead when I saw him on tour). He has also produced a lot of material for hip-hop artists, working closely with Aesop Rock. They even had a a series of local access-like skits on MTV called "I'm Trying to Help" (more info in this interview).
This is the website for the animator, Anthony Francisco Schepperd.

blockhead's been my favorite beat maker ever since he did the beats for Aesop Rock. Love the new album and hope he keeps producing for years to come. :)))

There's a new Blockhead album? And he's shaken off the attempts at "whimsy" that made Uncle Tony's kind of leaden? Awesome. Thanks so much for posting this.
