Dictionaraoke brings you well enunciated music. The fun of karaoke meets the word power of the dictionary. [Via kottke.org]

Funniest site EVER! Wow. Thanks, riffola! (and J.Ko, I guess)

You can't blame me for it either. I found it somewhere else, but forgot where. It was one of those 80-windows-open clickstravaganzas that we all go on from time to time.

Also, did anyone else think that these songs sounded like William Shatner was singing them? Spoken, not sung, the odd cadence, etc. I hope they do a version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds for comparison.

I had to download a song to "get" what this was all about. That website was incoherent as far as communicating anything to me... too much of a gimmicky faux-dictionary-listing theme going on. In any case, I was amazed -- this is some good stuff. I really like the 'Snuggles-fill' in Smash Mouth's All Star.

The server is unfortunately rather slow for me -- perhaps the J.Ko/MeFi one-two punch is killing it.

First saw this link on LYD. Very cool. I particularily like the deceptive design; it looks very commercial at first, but it's all fake of course. Made by members of snuggles, the negativland mailing list.

I really digged the attempts at the harmonic vocals on Bohemian Rhapsody. Twas thinking how impressive it'd be to perform these live, with a group of 5 or so, each armed with a dictionary and a scheduled order of who takes which words.
