The Original MouseRug. my mother brought one back from her trip to England (tmi). they are quite pretty and comfortable, and apparently help keep the rollers inside your mouse clean. I dig'm, at least! although they are not very good to eat.

At first, I was conjuring up the image of a rug knitted from the hairs of thousands of little mice. Then I realized it was a computer mouse being discussed. I was both disappointed and relieved.

the company i used to work for bought these for all our biggest clients as christmas presents two years ago. we had a huge stack of them at the office & i kept forgetting to swipe one. they're pretty cool, but too expensive. (anything more thatn $0 seems too much to spend on a mousepad, to me.) i kept thinking of all the good we could have been doing with that money.

this is why i make a rotten corporate drone.

When I picked up my $60 optical mouse in the store several months ago I thought.. This is dumb. $60 for a mouse. How can it be much better?

Once I got it home and powered the baby up, all of my doubts were forgotten. This is, potentially, the second best peripheral (behind my Microsoft Natural Keyboard) I've bought in the past 10 years.

And, of course, the extra buttons come in useful for Unreal Tournament..
