At a loss for the right word? This is an artful way to find another way to say what you mean.
Does anyone really need this garbage? Personally I am pretty mad at the link poster for not warning me that the following would the biggest waste of time! Seriously, all I have to do is type in m-w.com and I've everything I need. Sorry but that Plump Design plump design (not a typo) really made me.......er.........mad.........uhhhh hold on...........ok I've got it........made me angry. That's it angry.

The Brain is software that let's you create 3D maps similar to the thesaurus (except it doesn't wiggle like that). I have found it useful for organizing thoughts in non-hierarchical ways.

For real stream-of-consciousness fun, try setting the applet control for "Auto-navigate."

I used to have a dot-com client who called me in when it came time to redesign their corporate site. They thought the one they had was "too much like a PowerPoint presentation" and decided they wanted their site to be like the Visual Thesaurus.
Them: "We want visitors to feel like they are walking though the information about our company, exploring it as it unfolds before them. Each user's experience should be unique."
Me: "So you want to build a site that takes forever to download, crashes lots of people's browsers, and is purposefully organized so that visitors are unable to find the info they are looking for, and instead only get information randomly chosen for them to 'experience'?"
Them: "Yeah!"
They are now out of business.

Sorry for the double post. I did do a search with no results. I use the thesaurus to expand my search terms for future potential posts.
