I'll fix your heart, your achy breaky heart. Billy Ray Cyrus gets a TV show. A drama. He plays a doctor. Uggh.
Who knows? Yoakum turned out to be a decent actor, maybe Ray Cyrus will as well. I hope he decides to lose the mullet, though.

I was reading the blog of a girl in Canada a few weeks ago who ended up being cast as an extra in an episode of "Doc." She had no idea who he was, initially, but spoke with him at length. It sounds like he's a pretty nice guy. Give him a break.

I heard Bill in a Fila Brazillia song today, the bit about how people in marketing and advertising should go suck on a tailpipe. How fitting. I just wish I could been the fly on the wall when the pitch for this show was given.

Hi. For what it's worth, I'm the aforementioned girl from Canada who met Billy Ray. (Melinda. Charmed, I'm sure.)
Now, while I can't vouch for his acting skills, I must say this: He was the nicest goshdarned man I've ever met. He oozed southern charm like you wouldn't bloody believe. And this isn't coming from a die hard country fan, either. I'm just a simple punk rock girl whose hair intrigued Mr. Achy Breaky.
Anyway, if you want to hear the whole story and/or see some pictures, it's all available here.
(Oh, and for the record, he did lose the mullet. That's one of the reasons my cousin and I didn't recognize him when he first asked us to appear on Doc.)
