I've come to believe that French bulldogs are made from the most huggable material on earth; French bulldog.

mrs ozzy desparately, desparately wants a dog, preferably a French Bulldog, but the housing situation precludes it at the moment. She hates it when I send her videos of adorable bulldogs. I will probably send this to her.

If your French bulldog likes eating cabbage, you should probably stay upwind for several hours afterwards.

Pure nom. If Professor Om Nom of Omnomnomichron University, Nom, Alaska, was tasked to create the very essence of nomiclature, they could do no better than Anko. Every fibre of that dog's being is devoted to nom.
We are in the presence of greatness. But I feel Faint of Butt's fear: I can only report a tweet I saw on Christmas Day: "OMG! WHO THOUGHT FEEDING THE DOG SPROUTS WAS A GOOD IDEA?".

Here's a fairly consistent rule of thumb when it comes to YouTube videos: if it has some sort of Asiatic script in the title and features a dog for the preview thumbnail, then you know it's going to be good.

To say the least. Bulldogs are unbelievably gassy to begin with. And natto? Natto smells eye-crossingly disgusting going in.
I'm thinking these are bio-terrorist training videos, brilliantly disguised as the just cutest, fwuffiest videos ever! Yes! Yes dey are!

To set the record straight, French Bulldogs are not really dogs. They are a mutant form of rat-pig that has convinced the world that they are, in fact, dogs. This is not true. Dogs have a snout, this dog whatever it is does not have a snout, its teeth seem to be implanted directly into it's skull below it's nose. Dogs have dignity, this whatever it is does not have dignity.
Please note, also that dogs do not make little grunting noises, they BARK, they HOWL, they don't grunt like pigs.
And, dogs eat flesh, they eat meat, they walk away from a meal with blood dripping from thier teeth... This, this, whatever it is , walks away from a meal trailing vegan debris and cabbage farts.
This is a dog eating! NSF the squemish!

Works for me.

Totally loved that. Those limpid pools for eyes, those fuzzily wuzzily velvet cheeks, the likable shnorfle noises of appreciation and appetite. Such a shiny coat!
What a sweet dog and fun videos. Thanks for the tender hearted smiles.

If this is true, then I've only seen about four dogs in my entire life. It would have been five, but the Great Dane farted.

Me and Mr. blucevalo's dogs all do that, and they're not even French bulldogs. They even make shnorfle noises when they eat.
Dogs eat. That's what they do (and pee, and poop, and sleep).
This dog's adorable, though.

Frenchies are master manipulators! At least my "niece" Lucy is. The other night I was watching TV, eating a piece of vanilla cake, and that treacly ASPCA commercial with Willie Nelson singing "Always on My Mind" came on. Makes me tear up every time. Well, I was wiping away tears and I see Lucy at my side. She was like, "Please help starving dogs." So what could I do? She got a bite (several, actually) of my slice of cake.

So not impressed. My Australian Shepherd eats (neatly and politely) cabbage, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, banana slices, strawberry tops, and carrot slices, to name just a few of the things he really loves.

Our neighbor has two French bulldogs, and they're outstanding little dogs. And championship farters, too...once I gave them some brussels sprouts and diced apples as a snack(heh heh!) and there were loud reports from next door for several hours afterwards.

Hideous little monstrosities. Evidence enough that we don't deserve our place on this planet: from the mighty wolf and fifteen thousand years of careful breeding, we create.... this.

Frenchies seem willing, ready, and able to eat just about anything you place before them. Of course, you'll regret it, I mean really regret it, later.
I really just posted here as an excuse to include this picture of my Frenchie, Orson, looking belligerent about his Halloween costume.

Yeah, haterz, suck it! I love my Frenchie! She is a retired (rescued) puppy mill mama and I find her to be very bizarre. I know they wouldn't exist except for breeder's intervention and I'm not trying to promote the brand.
Miss Cleo loses her mind when I eat an apple. It is one of her very favorite snacks in the world. Her noises are not limited to nom noms though. She snores like an old man, loudly and constantly.
