See that Mechanical Red Eye? That's YOU, and you are an Insane Rogue AI. (Friday Flash Fun)

Yeah, gets pretty easy when you have the 3-second hack upgrade, even on the advanced levels. I do like nerdook's games though, I've played a bunch of them on Kongregate. Vertical Drop Heroes was a good one. I like the way he takes genres and distils them down into a self-referential parody/tribute.

Demons Took My Daughter was another good one, with an interesting take on tower defence.

I had a great time KILLING ALL HUMANS. I like your ideas about KILLING ALL HUMANS and would like to subscribe to your email newsletter. I will continue to KILL ALL HUMANS sometime soon.

Nerdook says, in the RPS comments: the fact that it’s easy is a conscious design decision, unfortunately: I figured the people who play Flash games would very much prefer a game that they can play in bite sized chunks. :)
I love the concept more than the execution and would love, as someone posited in the comments on RPS, to play a prequel to System Shock where you play as SHODAN just murdering and experimenting the hell out of people.

I like Nerdook's games but sometimes wish he concentrated more on making a handful of really brilliant games rather than a new decently-fun-but-won't-play-again every three days.

I like the part where you kill some humans and eat some cake.
Did I say kill some humans? I meant kill some cake. I mean eat some humans. I mean kill some humans.

For some reason, I found it much more rewarding to get as many pacifist solutions as I could. (Not counting zapping a few people with electrical door locks, of course.) There just seemed something much more evil-AIish about computers silently turning against you while your back is turned, the lights mysteriously going out just when you were about to walk over to that terminal, the slow and inexorable herding of all competent individuals to the floors where they were of no use...
