A grindhouse is an American term for a theater that mainly shows exploitation films. This theater type was named after the "grind policy", a film-programming strategy dating back to the early 1920s which continuously showed films at cut-rate ticket prices that typically rose over the course of each day. WTvF! Movies is a Youtube channel that features 7,000 exploitation films, including 1,800 Full Kung-Fu and Martial Arts Movies and 4,100 Full Grindhouse, Exploitation and Drive-In Movies

Most Book Towns have developed in villages of historic interest or of scenic beauty. Here is a list of book towns around the world. 8 European kids living with disabilities experience zero gravity. The experience was made possible by the European Space Agency, and Novespace, a subsidiary of French CNES. The kids rode a converted Airbus A310 which flew in repeated parabolic arcs to simulate the effects of zero-gravity without having to visit space.

he Revolutionary War ended in 1783 and photography was invented in the 1820s and 1830s, so most of the veterans of the war didn’t live long enough to have their portraits made. A handful of them did. In 1864, 81 years after the war, Reverend E. B. Hillard and two photographers embarked on a trip through New England to visit, photograph, and interview the six known surviving veterans, all of whom were over 100 years old. The glass plate photos were printed into a book titled The Last Men of the Revolution.

Jared Rydelek reviews exotic fruit. Why fruit? Finding exotic fruit that is unavailable to the rest of the world is a bit like a treasure hunt. Finding something I never knew existed is a thrilling experience whether or not the fruit actually tastes good. Some of the fruits I find are tasty, some are disgusting, some are dangerous to eat, but all of them are interesting. Here is his review of the $80 mango. (Via).

Nate is a 16 yr. old with calm demeanor and tolerance for ingesting peppers with very high Scoville scale. He started his Youtube review channel "snacksandsuch" 5 years ago with a spoon of Blair's Pure Death (Scoville Heat Units 35,000).
The videos are all similar in style: Here he is eating a Yellow 7 Pod cultivar (1M+SR). Here is his Chocolate Bhut Jolokia test, etc. He gets to taste the Naga Viper, the Trinidad moruga scorpion, Carolina Reaper, and many others.
