I just want one that's taken 90° from the usual direction so it looks like a normal building.

I just want one that's taken from 237° so it is going straight into the heart of Grand Forks, ND !!, home of the man who stole the wife of my ex-lovers wife's husband! (and her mineral rights!)

The word "backpfeifegesicht" does, however, come to mind when looking at his smirk.

Forced-perspective selfies all the way down...

All selfies are 'forced-perspective' in one way or another.

Thanks for this FPP! As it happens, I have a collection of photos, acquired thanks to my work, that someday I'll turn into a blog called "Tourists Behaving Badly." My husband laughs at me snapping pics of how the tourists are interacting with the sites and each other instead is the attraction itself. Anyway, my favorite one of this genre is a bunch of bros lined up to take turns pretending that the Washington Monument (an obelisk, for non U.S. Readers) is a raging boner sticking out of their shorts.

One of my favourite experiences in Oslo was sitting in front of The Scream for about half an hour, watching a parade of tourists take selfies and portraits in front of it, and seeing who would pose stern-facedly, in an accidentally inappropriate american Gothic take off, who would bunny-ears, and who would Scream. The Screamers were not always who I thought they might be - sometimes the elderly and serious of disposition would surprise me with a Scream, and sometimes an energetic tween would surprise me with its absence. It was a fun way to people watch, and I've since idly thought about seeing other artworks with famous poses and expressions to see if they're as good.

That's just, like, your opinion, man.

I'm usually a pretty big defender of traveling Americans who catch a lot of undeserved grief, but do you have to wander around Italy in a John Deer trucker hat?
