What's that about "tragedy plus time" Comedy that is....
Another one for the NZers
This is a truly strange story. I don't think it's funny at all, just odd.
Remember, last month a NZ construction worker was murdered with a knife in Honaria which no one has been arrested for. Law and order in general is a serious problem in the Solomons. The place is like the Wild West of the Pacific.
The media were reporting she walked down the path because there were intruders in her garage. What happened to them? Did the media just make them up?
She is supposed to have walked down a gravel path carrying a bag with a pearing knife blade up. She trips, drops the bag, the knife falls out of the bag and lands blade-up, then she falls on top of it and the blade pierces her heart. Then she staggers to her car, pulls out the blade and drops it on the ground, and manages to crawl to her neighbours house where the neighbour asks her: "What happened?" and before she can answer, she drops dead.
Is this for real? It reeks of another convenient NZ Police "closure" under political pressure. (see David Bain, Scott Watson, Peter Ellis).
