Ring names are the monikers used by professional wrestlers, like a pen name for authors. Dave Bautista used to be in the WWE.

Watching these interviews, it's apparent that if you want to know who someone really is, watch them interact with and talk about their pets. These are the sweetest, most loving conversations.

Isn't this the same guy who has repeatedly refused to use non-white names for dogs, particularly African names or am I getting him mixed up with someone else?

*sigh* Yes, he was a college kid doing something to juice engagement (changing names to ones that saw higher responses) without thinking through the implications. Let's definitely hold that against him forever, even though he hasn't done it in years. This will definitely advance the cause of social justice in a measurable way.

I've not muched liked the characters he has played, but he seems like a good dude.

And the Adam Savage clip makes me like him even more.

Wish I had the pull to talk to all the people I admire. Even if they have cats...
