GWAR's shtick is a little less interesting when they have to work PG-13 and can't ejaculate on the camera lens and audience.

RIP Dave. Still love Gwar, though.

OMG! I love Undercover and have missed it sorely. Best news of the day.

(Though I will say that Triple J's Like a Version has at least partially filled its shoes in the meantime. The Beaches' version of End of Beginning, originally by Djo, might be my song of the summer 2024. When I was back in Chicago I felt it!)

The real secret of GWAR is that the jizz was inside you all along. (also the blood, piss and liquid crack)

That's why I'm waiting for GWAR's NPR Tiny Desk concert.

My 12 year old self would have been fascinated by this group.

Thank you! I was worried my membership dues were going to waste.

You can barely tell they've aged. They should release a skincare line.

As someone who grew up in Richmond (and is planning on moving back there), GWAR is one of ours and I love it.

I have had conflicting feeling about GWAR becoming a "brand" (I still love you, GWARbar) but I get it. None of them are young (and yes, you can put younger people in the costumes because the band has more "roles" to be "personalities"). I also think it's a general aesthetic that's going away (although GWAR has always adapted to the times).

I don't know if GWAR will last forever and they're really not my thing overall, but the members I've met have been great people. I think they're all still having fun.

This was good. GWAR's fun DIY aesthetic is part of what makes them who they are. I hope they're all still enjoying doing this.
