Famous Sycamore Gap tree illegally cut down now showing signs of life. Eight new shoots appear on the stump of a famous tree that was illegally felled in northern England last year.

Yeah, I thought that would happen. It's hard to kill a sycamore tree.

yeah the neighbours (before we moved) had a magnificent sycamore tree, really beautiful - but we were pulling seedlings out of our garden continually, miss one for a few months and you're dealing with a small tree, if you can't pull out the roots it will sprout again, you have to paint the stumps with poison
