jiroczech I think you meant to criticize minimal techno, not Elektro Guzzi.
I haven't heard this band before, but I appreciate what they do, some techno bands tend to get carried away with their rock and roll roots and start to wank when the opportunity presents itself. I think this band exercises a restraint that would make them fun to see and dance to live.
If you have trouble seeing where this band fits in the scheme of things just imagine them like a more modern NEU!.

I like minimal techno, but I still think these guys are less interesting than Tortured Soul.

I enjoy some minimal techno -- Elektro Guzzi even sounds pretty good -- but these links confirm that I definitely wouldn't enjoy seeing it live.
I watched all of these and I'm still not sure if the guitarist can play anything or not... It seems like he just makes an occasional string noise.

A bit sparse on modulations for my tastes. Previewing several tracks, I'm hearing: start up the percussion machine, let it run while unfurling an unorganized progression of treated samples. Don't ask me why, but Pole achieves more with far less. IMO the label 'techno' is a far stretch for this material. Drop the imposed, static rhythms and it's experimental.

Seriously, it sounds like the same tune in every clip. WTF is this post? It's just an ad for some self-indulgent wankers. I clicked all the links to open in new tabs unaware that they were all playing at the same time. Actually, it sounded better when they were playing at the same time.
