To the moon!

Inside this site you'll find lots and lots of information, photos, videos and diagrams from NASA's moon landing programme, Project Apollo. There's also lots of material from the Mercury, Gemini, Skylab and Apollo-Soyuz projects. All of the material on this site is from NASA sources. Although most of it is available from various NASA sites, the pages on this site have all been reformatted and arranged to make finding and browsing as easy as possible.

Oh, the rage and disappoint I feel over the loss of Apollo 18 and 19. Apollo 20 I get, 'cause that Saturn V was used to launch Skylab, but the hardware for 18 and 19 was mostly built, might as well finish out the program,

This photo of Neil Armstrong remains one of my favorite photographs of the Apollo program.

Fun, yet irritating fact: There are almost no photos of Neil while he's actually on the Moon. Most of them are of Buzz Aldrin, taken by Neil, who was holding the camera.

Selfies hadn't been invented yet and I reckon Armstrong wouldn't have been the guy to do it either.

I dimly recall a song at the time by the title of Skylab Fragment and after a desultory search for it on YouTube found out that there was no end of such songs at the time. Also, there was the whole Apollo:Soyuz docking back then. Another hopeful orbital moment at the time.

That is Buzz's foot.

This is the only photo of Armstrong actually on the Moon. Why is that, Buzz, WHY IS THAT?!

Yeah, I have issues about this.

I remember watching the moon landing takeoff, when I was like, 6 years old. Was allowed to stay up late to watch...

And then it worked. With no computers at the time. Was pretty awesome.

Anyone associated with those Apollo missions, just...

Respect
